We are this week changing course to lay down another important section of our foundation of our confidence in our revealed faith. We began, as you remember, with the Messiah-ship of Christ, and followed up for three weeks on the reliability of the Scriptures in one frame or another. We are now going to ask for three weeks: Can God be Known?

This question will cover three topics in this order:

God can be known through Nature?

God can be known through Morality?

God can be known through Miracles?

The reason we wish to ask these three questions is because of a common complaint against God - namely being that He is hidden or unknowable. Each of these topics continue to have their relation to God's Word, and we will over the course of these sessions discussion that connection alongside the day's particular topic.

This week in any case, is to ask about: Can God be known through Nature? This is not to say "can God be fully known through nature" but rather, does Nature provide evidence for God's existence and character? If the pattern of nature and existence differs from what Scripture speaks of God this will pose a significant challenge.
